POLARM has a team of experienced and competent Behaviour Detection Officers who deploy at public venues to provide additional security capability. Our teams are able to monitor the crowds and identify individuals who may wish to harm themselves, others or commit a terrorist/criminal offence. We also have qualified Close protection officers who can work alongside and enhance our Behavioural Detection Services
POLARM was originally set up as a martial arts club focussing on close combat skills and all our operational and training services in POLARM are underpinned by our team’s knowledge and experience in close quarter combat. This aids our ability to deal with the physical interaction required with public and/or protesters in a safe and compliant manner. We have therefore created Close Quarter Combat Skills UKAS accredited Level 3 course for the military which is currently being certified for civilian personnel. Please see POLARM Defence Academy for more details.
